THE BRAZEN EARTH CLUTCH
Gold Ariseth x Bronze Lumeth
Cosmos Egg
The Cosmos Egg is a deep mass of swirling blues and blacks, each shade mingling with the next to give an endless tumbling roll of colour. If it had white flecks to it, it would almost exactly resemble the night sky. The aura given off is a definite relaxed, chilled, 'no sweat' feel. But you're quite simply rejected, pushed away if you don't fit the bill. Not many people seem to do so.
Rukbat Rising Egg
A distinctly pretty egg, the Rukbat Rising egg is a rich mix of mostly pink and orange hues, much like the dawn sky when Rukbat first appears over the horizon. Blended amongst the warm shades are lines of pale blues and there are pale white mottles that could almost be clouds.
Ravaged Egg
This smallish, pale coloured egg looks like it has been thrown to an angry watch-wher and then retrieved. Numerous, darker lines trace the shell from tip to base, looking like something has raked claws down the sides to leave dark, gaping gashes. The dragonet inside seems to be slightly restless and frustrated when you touch the shell and there seem to be distinct feelings of irritation aimed at the hard walls that enclose it.
Dull Copper Egg
A medium sized egg in a solid, rich copper shade, this one sits on a slightly raised pile of sand in the middle of the clutch. Its sandy pedestal makes it look nearly as big as the Forest Fire Egg from a distance, though up close it is quite evidently smaller. It sports none of the patterns that its siblings seem to do so, and is overall very easily overlooked. But it exerts a proud presence, almost one you'd expect from a Lord Holder so that if you get close enough (And are worthy) you don't even need to touch it to feel its thoughts. And you get a powerful, wrathful feeling if you mar its pristine shell with your dirty hands when it doesn't want you to. Woe betide you if you do such a thing!
First Light Egg
One of the smaller eggs in the clutch the First Light egg is very much dull and dark in appearance. Darkened shades of what could be any colour mottle the surface and give the impression of a black night sky, or perhaps the underside of a storm cloud. And yet the tip of the egg seems to be devoid of all colour as a stark white near perfect circle covers the narrower end. Upon touch, an inquisitive presence is felt and the eggs seems to be trying to investigate who you are.
Firestone Egg
A large egg, it is a dark mottled brown in colour, to the point of almost being black in places. Scattered across the shell are brighter flecks of rusty brown and orange, like the embers of a dying fire. Touching it, you will feel the dragonet inside this egg watching you closely, running gently through you mind as if assessing you for some great task. Occasionally it will jab out at an unfortunate candidate's mind, only to watch their reaction with what can only be described as joyful mirth.
Oceanic Egg
This egg is a cool wash of blues and greens in a rippled pattern that much resembles that of the sands on a beach after the tide has been in. It seems to gradiate, with the darker shades of blue and green at the bottom and the lighter shades at the top. A teal coloured band wraps itself round the middle of the egg. It is one of the large eggs of the clutch, standing roughly the size of the Granite Egg.
Marbled Egg
The small Marbled Egg has a soft coloured base, white with tinges of peachy hues to it, giving it a soft and warm look. Dark brown markings spider web all across the surface, being the colour of moist earth. It sits on a dark coloured bottom, as if in a little patch of earth.
Powder Egg
The Powder egg looks like it has just been dusted in a pale powder, with tiny spots of white speckling the entire surface. Underneath it is a very boring teal that varies in shade slightly being darker at the top, and paler at the bottom. It seems to exude a strange innocence and playfulness. Similar to that of a child that's hiding something from you...
Bleached Rock Egg
The Bleached Rock Egg is easily the smallest egg of the clutch, and is nearly completely devoid of colour. It's pale and only faint mottles show on the slightly dull surface, making it look uncannily like an off white rock from a beach. Touching it gives a reward of a sense of acceptance and tolerance, but the feeling is distant, weak, though oddly familiar.
Splatter egg
A pale, peachy orange shell that looks like it's been dropped in mud, for a darn brown splodge covers to bottom and dark brown spatter-like markings cover the shell up the sides, becoming fewer in number as they reach the top.
Inked Egg
A pale, light blue egg, with a dark black tip and lines running down from it as if ink is winding it's way down the sides.
Oak in Autumn Egg
Undeniable the queen egg of the clutch, this mottled egg stands a few inches taller than the rest of the clutch, almost matched in size by the Forest Fire Egg, which it sits right next to. It is a mottled orange in colour, with traces of brown smattering its shell more to the bottom, with motes of light at the top, and the whole egg shines with a golden sheen. When touched though, strangely it feels as if it doesn't know whether to stay quiet or embrace its visitor, but many will feel a watchful sense follow them as they walk away.
Pierced Egg
A dark coloured shell, with two identically sized white dots about 3/4s of the way up, about a finger's length apart.
Granite Egg
A mottled grey-blue in colour, this egg is neither the largest nor the most striking. Despite this, when touched this egg gives off a definite feeling of solidness and unshakability, totally unphased by anything it encounters. It will become apparent pretty quickly whether this egg likes you or not, for it has no hesitations about letting you know with either a warm welcoming or a mental shove followed by it ignoring you completely.
Savannah Egg
A pale, yellowish tan in colour, this egg looks much as if someone's glued grass on its sides, tailing off to reveal a rich sky blue at the tip. The bottom is a earthier brown colour. The dragonet inside yearns for that sky. anticipating the time when it can break free from its casing and fly fast and far. This egg is not for the feint-hearted, as the adventure promised by this egg can sweep you away, surprising for such a small egg.
Forest Fire Egg
The second largest egg in the clutch, but only just, the Forest Fire Egg is a wild mix of oranges, reds, yellows and browns, bringing to mind the inferno it is named after. It doesn't give the wild feeling that some may expect though, rather a solid assuredness, laced with threat to any who disrespect the queen egg that it leans toward protectively. If one does get on its bad side however, they can expect to feel the full fury of a wildfire focussed directly at them.
Cracked egg
Pale spiderweb lines of light grey trace all over this near black shell, with the occasional patch as it a piece of shell has flaked off to reveal a pale membrane.
Forest Floor Egg
Dark brown and orangey brown shades battle it out over this shell, patches of one beside patches of the other, like orange and brown autumn leaves on the floor.
Solitary Egg
A even, deep green shade with no other colours on it what so ever at all, free of all clashing and blending. It is a pristine evenness of colour, balanced.
Blue Moon Egg
It seems to be a trick of the light, but the Blue Moon Egg sometimes appears to glitter in the right light. Pale blue swirls adorn the pale creamy surface. It seems almost welcoming of those who approach, though serenely so. If eggs can be dignified then the Blue Moon Egg is most certainly so.
Soft Moss Egg
Dull greys and greens mottle the surface of this egg and give it a boring overall look, quite easily overlooked. This egg is very happy, exuberantly greeting all who approach with almost childlike delight. If it likes you, you're its and it's easy to feel the clingy egg as you try and walk away.
Alpine Lake Egg
With a muddy colour bottom fading to a misty grey-blue top the egg looks like a scene of a chilled lake in early morning, and has that cool feel about it too. It seems to pick up on any flaws with the people around it. Even tiny little things will be picked up on and the egg seems almost to judge you immediately, not really caring if its opinion bothers you or not.
