Jam didn't really think anything of the fact that Tangle was gone and Rick was looking rather closely at him. The hatching was only just over and he needed a day off. He really didn't want to think to hard on the fact that Tangle might be getting herself in trouble again. The kitchen had given him a free pass for the day and he'd always felt better after a quick relaxation in the Hot Spring. Risk loved the water and well, Tangle would get dunked a few times but loved it as well.
"Alright Risk." He swatted at Risk who landed on his head, chirping and squawking her excitement. "Good lord Risk, its only hot water."
Wearing his good shorts for swimming, he walking up and into the hall, finding his way into the hot spring while swatting at Risk. The water felt fine, just hot enough to ease stress and loosen tight muscles, Risk thought so as well.
Risk loved the hot water, diving and swimming around in the water, in fact she loved the way she could get close to the bottom and dig up small rocks, bring them to the surface and examine them. Pulling a small pebble up, she dragged it to the side and flipped it over, examining the way the steam rolled off it. A small black thing it was, no bigger then her head, and covered in little gray lines. Licking it, she dismissed it and flipped it over with her tail. Not good enough, she went back into the water, digging up yet another rock, this time a pebble that was gray, smooth and had little brown lines on it. This rock she found interesting and pushed into a separate pile.
Tangle was indeed getting herself in trouble, she'd been sidetracked on the way to the hot spring by a strand of yarn laying out in someones barracks. Fumbling with it, she'd quickly became entangled with the string and as having a hard time getting it off. Snapping and clawing, she pulled at the strings and only got herself into more of a tangle when the yarn fell from the bed and wrapped around her left wing. Jumping back she chirped at his and swatted at the ball, forgetting for a moment she was tangled up.

Luna walked slowly back to her room. She was still feeling the effects of what had gone on at the hatching. Bandages were wrapped around some of the worse wounds on his body. His dark blue tail was wrapped around her throat as he rested on her shoulder. His eyes were no longer red like they were a bit ago. They had gone out to walk around the weyr bowl and he had hissed at anyone that got too close.
Luna looked down at Draco and smiled sadly. As they got closer to her room they began to hear something. She walked into her room and spotted a green tangled up in some of her yarn. Draco's eyes began to turn red as he let out a soft hiss. "It's okay Draco, she's just tangled up." Luna knelt down and began tugging at the yarn. Soon it began to fall off the tangled firelizard. "There you go." Draco stared at the green firelizard. If it tried to take Luna he would bite its tail. "Now where did you come from little one?"

Maurisa didn't spend too much time in the hotsprings - the last few times she had tried for a nice, long soak, chaos had reigned, courtesy of a bored, nosy Green named Zirith. The latest time had involved a lovely combonation of missing bed-furs and ink. Muarisa swore there were still stains on her weyr walls.
Dressed in suitable attire, she descended to the springs. It had taken her a good hour to make sure Zirith wouldn't break, hide, loose, or throw anything while she was gone. She couldn't shake a sense of forboding, but the Weyrsinger was determined to spend at least half an hour in the water.
As she entered the cavern, she noted that a boy was already there, along with a green firelizard that seemed to be collecting pebbles. She couldn't help it, she grinned at the creature's antics - they reminded her of Zirith gathering 'shinies'. She felt something in the back of her mind, and Zirith sleepily informed Hers that she thought Maurisa should go find a firelizard clutch and Impress one or two. Maurisa, for her part, gave a mental shrug and a non-comittal reply. She decided to make herself known, and stepped up, speaking clearly, "Hello there! Hope I'm not disturbing you?" She asked, towel slung over one shoulder, an open, friendly expression on her face.

Jam leaned back against the side of the hot spring, relaxing until he felt like sleeping. His eyes closed he kept a mental check on Risk, who found herself another rock, this time colored with white and brown. Thinking to himself he was a little sad that he'd be unable to impress, but with two flits at his side, it wasn't exactly something unseen, he had his hand full all the time. Risk's sudden splash had Jam looking at the piles, she had two of them already, one was the dismissed pile, the other was the 'pretties', that she would either keep or hide.
"Don't get to many, I'm not going to hide them all for you." He grumbled and got comfortable again.
"Hello there! Hope I'm not disturbing you?"
Jumping, Jam made a quick 360 and saw a woman standing across the hot springs, she was grinning at his flitt.
"No, not at all, please." He made a motion for her to join him and blushed, a girl was in the hot springs with him.
Risk Had herself a nice neat pile of pretty little marbles, she loved the little white one that had red striped on it, continuously flipping it over and over to see all the different lines and marks it made. Making another dive in the water she splashed Jam and pulled another rock out, this time is was shaded in all kinds of colors, sparkling like a crystal. Chirping excitingly she flew to Jam's things and placed the little rock on his boots. Hearing the woman, she chirped a greeting before going back to her findings.
Tangle jumped when she heard a hiss and curled herself closer eyeing the blue. Hissing back she waited for the girl to take the yarn off her before she chirruped. Purring she nudged the girls hand, she would not steal his, she had her own.
"Now where did you come from little one?"
A sudden image of the hot springs flickered into the girls mind. Tangle showing her that she must be in the hot springs. Flapping her wings Tangle jumped and came up with a little string wrapped around her foot, not enough to be tangled up, but otherwise show she'd been into something again. Flying around, she made a dash for the hot springs, unaware if the girl fallowed or not.

Luna leaned back when the firelizard jumped up and flew out of her room. She had seen the images of the the hot springs the green had sent her. She was worried the green might get into more trouble so she decided to follow. Draco's eyes followed the green as it flew away. He would have to keep making sure it wouldn't try anything on his Luna. He tightened his grip on her as she began heading for the hot springs. He began wondering who belonged to the green. If she had someone she would be less likely to try to take Luna.
Luna reached up and rubbed Draco as she continued along the hall. She was really glad he was getting better. The hatching had caused a lot of damage to the blue. He was even more protective now. Most were too afraid of the blue's wrath to get close to her. She turned and walked into the hot springs. She quickly spotted two greens and what she guessed was the owner of them both.
She also notice the weyr's harper. She smiled at the woman. She had heard about her green dragon's antics. She had been most likely trying to relax for a bit. "Hello harper Maurisa. I hope you are doing well." Draco let out a hiss as he spotted the two people. He was more worried about the boy than the woman. Males were more trouble than females. His eyes began to turn red as he glared at Jam.
Luna held in a sigh as she turned to the guy and his greens. "Hello there. My name is Luna and this is Draco. Your green was tangled up in some of my yarn but she's fine now." Luna looked at the other green and let out a soft laugh when she saw the piles of stones.

Maurisa hid a laugh as the male - he couldn't be more then seventeen Turns - jumped, turning all the way round to look at her after she had spoken. It could be easily mistaken that she was laughing at him, not with him, so she kept her expression friendly. "No, not at all, please." Maurisa gave him a grateful look and a nod, slinging her towel over a handy bench placed there for that very purpose. "Oh, thank you! I haven't been able to get down here for days - the bathing room in my quarters is all well and good, but, even as short as I am, I still get cramp in my legs if I try to soak." She lowered herself into the warm water, relishing the warmth, careful to avoid the pile of pebbles the green firelizard had gathered. Wathcing the pretty little thing regard the pebbles she collected, the Harper suddenly shook her head, recalling her manners. "Oh! Terribly sorry, I'm Maurisa, Weyrsinger, of Green Zirith. Nice to meet you!", she smiled, and then added, "I have to say, your firelizard is charming!"
"Hello harper Maurisa. I hope you are doing well." Maurisa turned, and smiled at the girl - Luna, with her blue firelizard, and another green, said green trailing yarn behind her. She remembered Luna from the Hatching - sadly, she had not Impressed, and her firelizard, Draco, had beaten himself against an egg. "Hello to you, too, Luna! I am very well, thank you. And how are you?", she spoke gently, neither coddling, but neither overbearing, just trying to show she cared. Draco seemed on edge, though, and Maurisa hoped the protective 'lizard wouldn't hurt anyone.

Jam's blush continued as the woman made herself comfortable in the water. She made a comment about being short and he felt a little sad, she didn't seem all that short, at times he felt vary short.
"You don't seem short to me." He said shyly. She seemed nice enough, as he was only used to his flitts company most of the time.
"I'm Jamiress, I'm one of the candidate's that missed the hatching." He said sadly. "The little flitt picking up pebbles is Rick, I've another named Tangle, but I've seemed to have lost her."
Speaking of which, Jam caught sight of another girl enter the room with Tangle, a piece of string was looped around her leg and he groaned. The flitt had gotten into the girls string.
"I'm sorry about that. I'm Jamiress, this is Risk and the flitt you helped is Tangle." He held out his hand for Tangle to land on, which he then removed what was left of the string. He didn't miss the fact that the blue named Draco was hissing at him and he ducked behind one of Tangles wings as he removed the string.
A loud screech filled the room for a moment as Risk caught sight of the hiss blue. Hissing back at him, she flew around Jam's head in a protective manner. No one would hiss at hers but her, growling and showing teeth, she landed on Jam's had fanning her wings out to look larger. During her landing, Tangle had jumped away and Jam had stumbled.
"Shards Risk, stop that." Jam almost shouted.
Tangle dived out of the way and landed on the dismissed pebbled Risk had be collecting. Tripping, she fell over and mixed both together, she was lucky Risk hadn't seen her as she dashed away again, this time winding up under a towel peaking her head out at the two hostile lizards.

Draco hissed even louder at the other green as his eyes turned pure red. He opened his larger than normal wings and glared at the green. Luna let out a sigh as Draco glared at the green. "I'm doing better." Luna lifted her had and began petting Draco to try to calm him. "It's alright Draco. No one is trying to take me away from you." Draco kept glaring at Risk but he began to calm down.
He flapped his wings threateningly to warn the green to stay away from Luna. As He did he loosened some of his bandages. He winced as a few began to slide off. Luna quickly sat on the ground and pulled Draco onto her lap. "Hold still Draco. I'll fix them." Luna re-wrapped all his bandages. He pushed himself close to her and eyed the others

"You don't seem short to me." He seemed somewhat shy, or, more correctly, un-used to company, and probably not used to males and females sharing hotsprings. Uh, not that many places had hotsprings. Maurisa smiled, a mischievious glint in her eye, "You're very kind to say so, but you should see me compared to Zirith. It's a wonder I manage to get on her back!", she said in a joking tone. It was well known that the green-pair were both somewhat smaller then average, both making up for it with increased chattiness.
"I'm Jamiress, I'm one of the candidate's that missed the hatching. The little flitt picking up pebbles is Rick, I've another named Tangle, but I've seemed to have lost her." She nodded, to show she had heard and taken it in, comitting his name, and those of his firelizards, to memory. It was a shame he had been late, but considering the odd events, maybe it was a mixed blessing as well. "Well, there will be other Hatchings," she said with a confidence she didn't wholly feel, masking her anxiety. This was a time to relax, not burden someone with her worries, "if you do not mind me asking, where did you meet your firelizards?"
"I'm doing better." Maurisa nodded to Luna, compassion in her eyes. "That's good - and how is Draco? Vocal as ever," she winced at his hissing, and the protective display of one of Jam's greens. "Oh my..."

Jam listened as best he could to what Maurisa said while he pulled Risk from his head. Her wings were spread wide as they could go, but she quickly closed them when he placed her on his shoulder. Her tail instantly wrapped around his neck tightly and she continued to glare at the blue.
"You're very kind to say so, but you should see me compared to Zirith. It's a wonder I manage to get on her back!"
He'd not seen the green dragon she named, but he'd heard of her."You feel as big as you want."
"Shards Risk, your choking me." He pulled Risk's tight tail and she loosened it somewhat.
"if you do not mind me asking, where did you meet your firelizards?"
Surprised at her question he looked at her and looked away just a quickly. "Well, i found their nest on the beach one day and picked them up. Five eggs in total, but i only got these two out of the bunch."
Risk curled her tail around hers neck and wouldn't move. Making sure not to dig her claws into his weak skin, she glared at the blue. He hissed and flinched, causing her to become curious. His body was covered in bandages, something she had overlooked in her rage, but now found quite unnerving. Chattering a series of chirps, she looked at Tangle who looked out from her mess of a hiding spot. With the once over of Tangle she was soon looking at Draco again.
Tangle poked her head out to see what Risk wanted and chirped softly. Coming out of her hiding place she made a quick turn of the hot springs before settling down near Draco an the girl who'd gotten her out of the string. Chirping at the blue, her eyes swirled colors of curiosity and sorrow at the pain he seemed to be enduring.

Luna smiled sadly as she made sure none of the bandages were too tight. "He's doing better. Most of his wounds are starting to heal. It doesn't look like he will have that many scars." Draco moved himself closer to Luna's chest as he eyed the two greens. The red in his eyes began to fade away as he began to relax.
He curled his tail around Luna's wrist as he faced the greens. They hadn't made a move to take his Luna yet. Luna watched Draco a moment move before looking back up at Maurisa. "He still hasn't let me near the other weyrlings or any of the dragons. He only wants me around Dusk anymore." Luna had quickly noticed the blue trusted the basilisk more than anyone else with her.

OOC - sorry for late reply. D:
"You feel as big as you want." Maurisa grinned with mirth dancing in her eyes, and laughed. She never giggled, well, not unless she was in a meeting or something and had to stifle laughter. If she were going to laugh, she was going to do it right. "Ah, yes. That is indeed true," she said seriously, but with eyes still laughing. It reminded her so much of Zirith's determination to be more then 'just' a Green, she couldn't help but find it funny.
"Well, i found their nest on the beach one day and picked them up. Five eggs in total, but i only got these two out of the bunch." She sobered up after her humour, and nodded. She would file that information away for later - in case she ever actually got to go to the beach.
She turned as Luna spoke, watching the candidate with calmer eyes now, giving all due respect to the girl and her fire lizard. The Weyrharper was ready and willing to help, however she could. "He's doing better. Most of his wounds are starting to heal. It doesn't look like he will have that many scars. "He still hasn't let me near the other weyrlings or any of the dragons. He only wants me around Dusk anymore." Well, that was a surprise - fire lizards usually loved dragons, and couldn't be kept away from them. She had found a few hanging around her Zirith sometimes, though she didn't know to whom the lizards looked. And that Draco would prefer a basilisk...It took some thought to accept the fact the little blue found a basilisk more appealing then a dragon, but, given his experiences, she supposed that was only normal. "Well, at least he's getting better," she finally said and, realising that sounded lame, she fought on, "How is Dusk and Hers? I...I don't often see them myself, I'm a bit leery of them, to be honest." She ended, keeping her voice controlled. She didn't want to be so scared of them anymore - after all, Dusk hadn't mauled anyone since coming to the Weyr - but she couldn't set aside her squeamishness when faced with a basilisk.
