Sky wasn't too worried about Inca, there were other greens after all and he finally had the rest of that white powder off too! Chirping a sweet thank you at Caro, the blue proceeded to swim about, but quickly dived underwater with a squawk of alarm as Dawn appeared. As he resurfaced, Sky chirped a hesitant greeting to the queen now sitting on Shea's submerged head.
Caro meanwhile, had gotten her hair out of its braid and the honey golden mass now floated about her shoulders. She should really take care of her hair better. The girl jumped as the queen appeared, the screeching filling the hot springs. Wincing at the sound, Caro watched as the one person she would of course manage to greet(well he was male and he was bathing with females, and Caro was slightly uncomfortable around nude males, water or no water.) slipped underwater after a brief mutter, 'uh oh'.
Caro shook her head slightly in amazement and watched as the queen landed on the man's head with perfect diginity even though he was underwater. Then of course, bubbles appeared signaling a sigh and he resurfaced and introduced the new flitter.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself before." Caro mumbled embaressed as red skattered across her cheeks once more. "I'm Caroline, or Caro if you prefer." Then she turned her gaze upon Dawn.
"And it's nice to meet you as well, Dawn. Such alovely queen you are." Caro crooned, raising a hand to scratch the gold's eye ridges, but then she pulled back, unsure if the man would allow her such intamite contact with his queen. Or even if the queen herself would allow it.
"Sorry..." Caro mumbled again, a little sheepishly. She turned back to Mia as the girl answered her and smiled.
"I'm fine! This little blue here is actually a friend's. He got into some flour and she asked if I would bath him. I think she had other reasons for asking me though, she thinks I work too hard." Caro replied, rolling her eyes slightly. "I'm glad to hear Sorbeth's doing well. Hope Weyrling training isn't too tax-." The last syllable of Caro's sentence was cut off as Sky schreeched angrily and burst out of the water going to the only person he'd want to perch on at the moment, Caro. She winced as his claws dug into her shoulder, the blue burying himself in her hair while glaring balefully at something. Then Caro knew what it was as Kiara's voice reach her ears, ""Can neither of you control your creatures? That beast, very nearly just scalped me! And that one! Is about as much use as that wher of yours! Good only for their hides!"
Instantly a cold rage seeped into her blood as Caro turned to look a the raven haired girl with cold blue eyes. She glanced at Luna as the girl reacted, but simply let a sigh escape her lips. She would have her say, oh yes she would.
"Kiara," Caro said simply, quietly and bitingly cold, "I wouldn't be calling any dragon a wher. No matter what color. You only want a gold for selfish reasons, not for the good of the Weyr. What makes you think any queen would pick you? You may very well end up with a green, lowest of all the dragons, and there would be nothing you could do about." Reaching up to absentmindly pet a hissing Sky, Caro continued.
"In fact. I doubt you'll get the queen, because I hardly see you as a queen. Queens are dignified, kind if not a little tempermental, and have no need to manipulate others to do their bidding as you do. I wouldn't surprised if even a green rejected you." Caro finished, her tone turning mocking near the end. There. Let her chew on that.
